Best Crypto Copy Trading Apps in 2026: the On-Chain Comparison

Last verified: August 11, 2026. Referral links marked where present. This page covers on-chain copy trading; exchange copy products (Bitget, Binance, eToro) are a different animal we deliberately leave to others.

Most "best copy trading" lists rank exchanges, because exchanges pay the biggest affiliate fees. But if the traders worth copying are trading memecoins on Solana and Base, copying them means being on-chain where they are. Four tools matter there, and they differ on the question that decides everything: who are you copying, and how did you find them?

The uncomfortable premise, first

Copy trading has a survivor-bias problem: every leaderboard shows you the wallets that won recently, which is not the same as wallets that will win next. No tool on this page fixes that. The tools differ in how much they help you judge a wallet before you copy it, and that is exactly how we rank them.

Verdicts by what you actually want

Most control over who and how you copy: Cielo. It grew out of wallet tracking, so you copy wallets you have watched for weeks, with agents that filter tokens, size positions, take profit, and can be backtested against the wallet's history before you fund them. That last feature is unique in this table. Since the July 2026 OdinBot acquisition it is the most complete on-chain copy system. One open question, custody, is documented in the review.
Easiest entry: FOMO. A social feed you can copy from in two taps, gasless, mobile-first. Watch the $0.95 minimum on small trades: below about $190 a trade, the fee percentage climbs fast, and small trades are what social feeds encourage. Numbers in the review.
Best wallet discovery: GMGN. If you do not already know whom to copy, GMGN's smart-money analytics are the strongest way to find candidates, and its mirroring runs on six chains. Its 1% fee is the price of the analytics.
Best inside Telegram: Trojan. If your trading already lives in Telegram on Solana, Trojan adds competent copy trading without a new interface.

Is copy trading safe, legal, worth it?

Safe: the copying mechanism adds no risk beyond the platform custody covered on our safety page; the risk is that you inherit someone else's drawdowns at machine speed. Set stop losses in the agent, not in your head. Legal: in most jurisdictions copying trades with your own funds is simply trading; nothing here is legal advice for yours. Profitable: sometimes, for some period, and the tools charging 0.5% to 1% per copied trade profit either way. Anyone selling certainty is selling.

FAQ

What is the best copy trading app for crypto?

On-chain in 2026: Cielo for control and research depth, FOMO for ease, GMGN for discovering wallets worth copying. The honest answer depends on whether you already know whom to copy.

Can I copy trade Solana memecoins?

Yes, all four tools above do it; it is the most active copy trading niche and also the most volatile. Small sizes, hard stops, no exceptions.

Why not Bitget or Binance copy trading?

Different product: you copy futures traders inside an exchange, with KYC, in jurisdictions that allow it. This page covers the on-chain world where memecoin traders operate. We keep the two separate on purpose.
