What TradeVersus is
An independent comparison site for crypto trading bots and social trading apps, run by one person who uses these tools with real funds. It exists because the existing answers to "which bot should I use" are written by exchanges, by the bots themselves, or by referral pages that copy each other's stale numbers and mention risk nowhere. The bet this site makes is simple: dated, sourced, incident-inclusive comparison converts skeptical readers better than hype converts anyone.
The method
- Every number is dated. Each page carries a "Last verified" date, and fees, chain counts and program terms are checked against official documentation on that date, not copied from other reviews.
- Incidents are content, not footnotes. Hacks, refunds, allegations and suspensions appear in the same tables as fees, with the same prominence.
- Unconfirmed means we say so. Where official docs are silent (Maestro's cashback tiers, Cielo's custody model, Banana Gun's referral rate), the page says the docs are silent instead of repeating a third-party guess.
- Direct use where possible. Some verdicts (BasedBot's early chain support among them) come from our own trading, and the pages say when that is the case.
How the money works, exactly
Some outbound links are referral links. They are always marked "(ref link)" where they appear, and they route through addresses on this site (the /go/ paths) so we can update programs without editing pages. When you sign up through one and trade, the platform pays us a percentage of the fees it collects from you. Your price never increases; on some platforms a referral link lowers it. Three commitments follow:
- Verdicts are written from the comparison data, and platforms we do not participate with get the same table treatment as platforms we earn from. Two of the ten platforms covered at launch pay us nothing and outrank paying ones in several verdicts.
- A platform we would not deposit our own funds into gets no link at all, referral or otherwise.
- If a platform's program terms ever conflict with what a page says, the page is wrong and gets fixed; tell us.
What this site is not
Not financial advice, not a recommendation to trade, and not a promise that any tool here makes money. Trading memecoins through bots is one of the highest-risk activities in crypto. Every bot and app covered here holds deposited funds on its own infrastructure, which is why every page repeats the same rule: only deposit what you actively trade. If you take one thing from this site, take the safety page.
Corrections
Found a stale number or a wrong fact? The fastest fix is to flag it publicly wherever you found the site linked. Corrections ship with a new "Last verified" date.
