Cielo Finance Review 2026: the Wallet Tracker That Became a Copy Trading Platform

Last verified: September 14, 2026 · tested in the app by us · fees and custody corrected the day Cielo answered

Verdict: Cielo is the rare crypto tool with a paper trail: born from the UniWhales community in 2020, a disclosed $2.2M raise in 2021, a CEO with his name on it (Matt Aaron).

It has been a reference wallet tracker since 2021, and on July 24, 2026 it completed the OdinBot acquisition and turned tracking into copy trading with automated agents.

Fee is 0.6% per manual trade (confirmed in-app, August 14, 2026) and 1% per trade executed by a copy-trading agent (confirmed by Cielo publicly on September 14, 2026). Trading covers Solana, Base and Robinhood Chain.

Custody, the question we had open for weeks, is answered: the trading wallet keys are managed by Turnkey and the private key is exportable, confirmed by Cielo on September 14, 2026. The standard rule still applies: keep in there only what you trade.

The facts, dated

ItemStatus as of August 14, 2026
CompanyGrew out of UniWhales (2020), raised $2.2M in 2021 led by Signum Capital, CEO Matt Aaron is publicly identified. Rare transparency in this category.
Wallet trackingThe core product: track wallets across 30+ chains with real-time alerts in Telegram or Discord. Free tier tracks up to 250 wallets; Pro and Whale paid tiers raise the limits and add API access.
TradingSolana, Base, and Robinhood Chain (all three visible in the trading wallet in-app, August 14, 2026). Fee: 0.6% per manual trade, confirmed in-app on the same date; 1% per agent-executed trade, confirmed by Cielo on X on September 14, 2026. Tokens launching on Pools, Uniswap's launchpad on Robinhood Chain, are tradable at the same rate.
Copy tradingLaunched late July 2026, after the OdinBot acquisition completed on July 24, 2026 (a Solana copy trading bot with about $250M volume). Copy Trading Agents follow up to 50 source wallets each (confirmed by Cielo on September 14, 2026; the 250, 750 and 2,000 figures in the docs are tracking limits per plan, not agent limits), with token filters, position sizing, stop loss and take profit, plus a backtesting simulator and a Multi-Buy agent that fires when several tracked wallets buy the same token.
CustodyEmbedded wallet with key management by Turnkey, confirmed by Cielo publicly on September 14, 2026. The docs add that the private key is exportable from the Portfolio page and that "Cielo does not have access to your trading wallet". We had written it was undocumented; we were wrong, it was in the docs.
IncidentsNone found.

A note on outdated sources: Cielo traded for years as a wallet tracker only, and most third-party articles still describe it that way.

If you read elsewhere that Cielo does not offer trading, that source predates 2026. Trading on Solana, Base and Robinhood Chain is live, and copy trading shipped with the OdinBot acquisition completed on July 24, 2026 source. Checked August 12, 2026; chain list re-verified in-app August 14, 2026.

How Cielo copy trading works, and why it matters right now

Copy trading has an information problem: most platforms ask you to copy strangers from a leaderboard. Cielo comes at it from the opposite side.

It spent years as a wallet tracker, so its users already follow wallets they vetted themselves. Adding execution to that (track a wallet, then let an agent copy it with your own filters and position limits) is a more honest architecture, because the wallet selection is yours.

The backtesting simulator lets you test an agent against a wallet's past trades before funding it. No Telegram bot offers that.

Cielo labelled the FOMO traders first

On August 25, 2026, Cielo's announcement channel reported 57,000+ fomo wallets labelled inside the tracker, two weeks before BasedBot and Arkham did their own versions. If the trader you want to copy trades on FOMO, Cielo can now show you the wallet behind the name.

The same channel announced an import of your wallets from Padre, the terminal Pump.fun owns, plus Exclusions on the Pro and Whale plans, an Ask AI helper in the simulator, and advanced take-profit and stop-loss. We have dated the first item; the others we saw undated on September 13 and will date when we can.

Costs

ItemCost
Trading fee, manual0.6% per trade on Solana, Base and Robinhood Chain in-app, Aug 14, 2026
Trading fee, copy-trading agents1% per trade executed by an agent. Written twice in the docs, confirmed by Cielo on X on September 14, 2026. We had 0.6% here until that day.
TrackingFree tier, 250 wallets
Pro$59 a month: higher limits, more cashback, API access
Whale$199 a month

So the manual fee is below the 1% Telegram bot standard, and the agent fee matches it. Copy trading works without a subscription. The subscription only decides how many wallets you can track and how much cashback you earn.

The custody question, answered

In plain words first: the trading wallet is yours, Cielo says it cannot touch it, and you can take the key out.

Now the detail. For weeks this page said Cielo did not document its custody model. On September 14, 2026, Cielo answered publicly on X: key management for the embedded wallets is handled by Turnkey, a wallet infrastructure provider. Its docs, which we should have read more carefully, add that the private key is exportable from the Portfolio page and that "Cielo does not have access to your trading wallet".

We have not audited the setup, and Turnkey is a vendor claim like Privy is for FOMO. But it is a documented model with an export path, which is exactly what we asked for. The float rule still applies: keep only what you actively trade in there.

How to track a wallet in Cielo, step by step

This is the core loop of the product, walked through in the free Telegram bot on August 18, 2026, with our own screenshots (identifying wallets, tokens and addresses redacted by us). The whole thing takes under a minute and requires no deposit.

Step 0: get your bot, the right way.

  1. Create your account from the Try Cielo link. That path credits this site; features and fees are identical either way.
  2. In the web app, open Alerts in the top menu (or Settings, then Alerts).
  3. Connect your Telegram username and switch Bot #Free on.
  4. Click the small open icon next to it. Your personal bot opens in Telegram, linked to your account.

Path walked on August 24, 2026. If you skip the web app, the official bot entry per Cielo's docs is t.me/evmtrackerbot, but an account created that way carries no referral.

If wallets you track in the web app do not show up in the bot: they are not pushed to Telegram until you assign them. On the Tracking page, use Bulk Edit, assign the wallets to your bot and tick the transaction types you want. We hit this ourselves with the FOMO wallets; Cielo gave us the fix on September 14, 2026.

Step 1: tell the bot what to track. Open the tracking menu and the bot asks one question. You can track a wallet (EVM chains), a Solana wallet, a Tron wallet, or a token. Pick Wallet and paste the address you want to follow.

Step 2 (the power move): do it in one line. The /add command takes the address plus optional flags: a label, a minimum USD threshold so small movements stay silent, a chain list, and a filter list. The examples below are Cielo's own, shown to every user.

Cielo add command syntax with label, minimum USD, chains and filters flags, with two official examples
One line does everything the menus do: /add address, label, -min, -chains, -filters.

Step 3: choose the chains. The bot offered 18 chains on this screen when captured (August 18, 2026), all selected by default:

Cielo's site advertises 30+ chains across the product. This list is what the free bot's add-wallet flow showed that day, and it already includes chains most trackers ignore.

Step 4: choose the filters, then confirm. This is where Cielo shows its depth: 23 event types, from plain swaps and transfers to LP moves, NFT mints, perpetual orders, imminent liquidations, bridges and contract creations.

Keep them all while you learn, then mute what you do not trade. Confirm, and alerts start arriving in the chat, like the ones in the first screenshot.

Create the account on the web first, then connect Telegram from inside the app; the bot alone carries no referral. Wallet tracking on the free tier requires no deposit at all, which is the risk-free way to evaluate it.

FAQ

Is Cielo Finance legit?

Yes, by the standards of this category it is unusually legitimate: a named CEO, disclosed funding, a product history back to 2020, and no incident record. On custody, Cielo answered us publicly on September 14, 2026: the embedded wallet keys are managed by Turnkey.

What is the Cielo wallet tracker?

A tool that watches wallets you choose across 30+ chains and alerts you in Telegram or Discord when they move. Free for up to 250 wallets.

It is the foundation the copy trading is built on, and it leads our best crypto wallet trackers, compared.

How does Cielo copy trading work?

You pick source wallets (usually ones you already track), create an agent with filters, sizing and stop rules, backtest it if you want, then fund it. The fee is 1% per trade the agent executes; manual trades cost 0.6%.

Solana is where copy trading is confirmed to run: the agents grew out of OdinBot, a Solana bot. Cielo's trading wallet also covers Base and Robinhood Chain (checked in-app on August 14, 2026), and Cielo's docs now list agents on Solana, Base and Robinhood Chain (read September 13, 2026). We have only watched agents run on Solana ourselves.
