Where Axiom wins
Cost at volume and range of instruments. The cashback ladder takes the real fee to 0.75% for heavy traders, the best sustained rate in Solana meme trading, and the Hyperliquid integration puts spot and 50x perps in one interface, which nothing else in this comparison does. It has held the largest share of the Solana terminal market for a reason: execution is the product, and it shows.
Where GMGN wins
Information and reach. GMGN's smart-money analytics (which wallets are accumulating, who is exiting, wallet PnL histories) feed a copy trading system that mirrors up to 10 wallets, and the whole thing runs on six chains with the Telegram bot sharing your web wallet. If your strategy is following good traders rather than out-executing them, GMGN is built for you. For copy trading beyond terminals entirely, see the full copy trading comparison.
The two asterisks, spelled out
GMGN's problem is not its code but its name: fake GMGN sites stole over $700K from users in late 2025. The defense is unglamorous: type gmgn.ai yourself, bookmark it, never follow ads or DM links. Axiom's problem is an accountability question: in February 2026 the on-chain investigator ZachXBT alleged an employee used internal tools to access user data. Axiom said it was investigating; we found no public resolution since. That is an allegation, not a proven breach, and we will update this page when either company closes its file. Both asterisks argue for the same boring practice: segregate your trading wallet from your holdings, whatever platform wins you over.
What about Photon?
The third name in every 2026 terminal debate. Photon remains fast and Solana-only, with no copy trading and no fee tiers at 1%. It answers a simpler question: raw manual speed with clean charts. If that is you, Photon deserves the look; for everyone else this page's two contenders lead the category. BullX, the fourth name of 2025, suspended trading on June 1, 2026 and should not be funded until it relaunches.
FAQ
Is GMGN safe to connect a wallet to?
GMGN's model is an in-app wallet rather than connecting your main one, and its platform has not been breached. The losses you have read about came from phishing clones of its site. Access it by typed URL only, and keep the in-app wallet funded as a trading float.
Which has lower fees?
At low volume they are close to identical after GMGN referral discounts. Past the first cashback tiers, Axiom pulls ahead and keeps widening. High-volume traders choose Axiom on math alone.
GMGN or a Telegram bot?
Different tools: terminals give charts, analytics and lower effective fees; Telegram bots give speed from a chat and cover chains terminals do not. Our main comparison maps the whole field.
