Maestro Bot Review 2026: Fees, Cashback, and Whether It Is Safe
Last verified: September 5, 2026 · cashback ladder and chains read in the bot by us
Verdict: Maestro is one of the two oldest serious Telegram trading bots, covers 14 chains we counted in the bot ourselves (its own docs still say 12), and handled its 2023 exploit the right way: full refunds within a day.
The 1% fee is market rate, the cashback program is real but its tiers are not published, and the $200 per month premium buys speed, not lower fees. A solid multi-chain default, with the usual custody caveat.
Is Maestro Bot safe? One exploit, in October 2023, refunded in full within a day, and nothing confirmed since. Your keys stay in the bot's infrastructure though, which is the real caveat, and the full record is below.

The facts, dated
| Item | Status as of August 11, 2026 |
|---|---|
| Fee | 1% on every successful buy, sell and presale snipe, manual or automated. Transfers free. Re-checked in the docs August 27, 2026: unchanged. The part most reviews skip is how it is collected, see below. source |
| Chains | 14 live in the bot, counted on the /chains screen on August 27, 2026: Solana, BSC, Base, Ethereum, Monad, Sonic, Avalanche, Arbitrum, HyperEVM, Robinhood Chain, Arc, Stable, Tron and TON. The official docs still list 12: Arc and Stable ship before the documentation mentions them. The bot showed 38,601 monthly users that day, 39,829 on September 5. |
| Cashback | 15% of fees back from the first trade, up to 30% above $1M of volume. Four tiers, not in the docs, read in the bot via /cashback on September 5, 2026 in-app, Sept 5. Claimable per chain above a minimum. |
| Premium | $200 per month: faster execution bot, 30 concurrent trades instead of 10, longer monitoring, more limit orders. It does not reduce the 1% fee. |
| Custody | Bot-generated wallet. Private key and mnemonic are shown once at creation, then stored encrypted on Maestro's servers. Lose the key message and there is no documented way to re-export it. Write the key down when it appears. |
| Team | Anonymous. No published audit of the bot itself. |
| Incidents | October 2023 router exploit, details below. Nothing confirmed since; one outlet alleged a smaller 2024 loss that was never substantiated elsewhere. |
What Maestro is
Maestro is a Telegram bot. You open a chat, it creates a wallet per chain, you paste a token address, and it buys, snipes, sets limit orders, copy trades or trails a stop.
It was one of the first bots to make Telegram the trading interface. Newer bots still measure themselves against it.
In 2026 the notable thing is chain breadth: 14 networks counted live on the /chains screen, two more than the docs list, including Monad, HyperEVM, Robinhood Chain, Arc and Stable. The team ships chains faster than it documents them.
Maestro bot fees, and the cashback fine print
Every successful buy, sell and presale snipe costs 1%. That is the going market rate for Telegram bots, so Maestro is neither cheap nor expensive. Re-checked in the official docs on August 27, 2026: still 1%, unchanged.
How it is collected is the part almost no review mentions, and it matters if you trade small:
- On Solana the fee comes out inside the transaction, so you never see a separate charge.
- On EVM chains fees accrue quietly and are only taken once your unpaid total crosses a threshold, never below 0.01 ETH, BNB or AVAX (0.5 TON on TON).
- There is a ceiling: a fee collection is never higher than 10% of your highest wallet balance. Useful to know, and a reminder that the bot reads that balance.
The practical consequence: a run of small trades can leave you owing fees you have not been charged yet. The debt is real, it just arrives later.
The cashback program refunds part of that 1% on every eligible trade, and you claim it per chain from inside the bot. The official docs never say how much: no tier table, no percentages. Maestro's blog says "up to 30%" and stops there.
The cashback ladder, found inside the bot
We asked Maestro support on September 5, 2026. The answer: type /cashback in the bot and tap "Explore tiers". Here is what it shows, captured that day.
| Tier | Trading volume | Cashback on fees |
|---|---|---|
| Bronze | $0 to $10k | 15% |
| Silver | $10k to $100k | 20% |
| Gold | $100k to $1M | 25% |
| Diamond | above $1M | 30% |

The number that matters: everyone starts at 15%. From the first trade, Maestro's 1% is 0.85% in practice. Reaching 30% takes a million dollars of volume, which is not most readers.
For comparison, BasedBot publishes its ladder in the docs: 5% at the bottom, 25% past $1M. Maestro pays three times more at the entry level and more at the top, it just never wrote it down. Details in the BasedBot review.
The dashboard also shows a separate "PumpFun Cashback" button. We have not explored it yet.
Is Maestro Bot safe? The 2023 exploit, honestly told
Short answer: Maestro is safe enough to trade with, and not safe enough to store anything in. It was exploited once, on October 24, 2023, and it refunded every affected user within a day, which is the best incident response in this category. Since then no incident has been confirmed. The permanent risks are structural rather than historical: the team is anonymous, there is no published audit, and your deposit sits on their infrastructure.
On October 24, 2023, Maestro's router contract was exploited. About 280 ETH (roughly $485K then) was taken from 106 users.
Wallets and private keys were not compromised: the flaw was an unverified router contract without permission checks.
| When | What happened |
|---|---|
| Oct 24, 2023 | Router exploited, ~280 ETH taken from 106 users |
| Within ~30 min | Caught, contract disabled |
| Next day | 610 ETH refunded, illiquid positions paid in ETH plus 20% |
What matters for judging the team is the response. Every affected user was made whole within a day, as Decrypt reported at the time.
Since then no incident has been confirmed. One security outlet claimed Maestro lost around $200K in the September 2024 wave of Telegram oracle attacks, with minimal disclosure. We could not confirm it anywhere else. We flag it rather than hide it.
The honest frame for the whole category has not changed: an anonymous team, no published audit, and your deposit lives on their infrastructure.
Maestro's record on making users whole is among the best in the category. It is still not a savings account. Only deposit what you actively trade. More in Are Telegram trading bots safe?
Setup notes that save money
- When the bot shows your private key at wallet creation, save it somewhere safe immediately. The docs are explicit that there is no later recovery.
- Check the cashback menu per chain once you trade regularly; rebates sit unclaimed until you collect them.
- Skip premium unless you snipe competitively. It buys concurrency and speed, not lower fees.

FAQ
Is Maestro bot safe?
Safe to trade with, not safe to store in. One exploit, in October 2023, fully refunded within a day; nothing confirmed since.
What has not changed: an anonymous team, no published audit, and a wallet held on their servers. Deposit what you actively trade and keep the rest in a wallet you control.
Has Maestro bot ever been hacked?
Once. Its router contract was exploited on October 24, 2023, taking about 280 ETH from 106 users. Wallets and private keys were not compromised.
The contract was disabled within about 30 minutes and 610 ETH was refunded the next day, with illiquid positions paid in ETH plus 20%. A separate claim of a ~$200K loss in September 2024 could not be confirmed anywhere else, and we flag it rather than hide it.
Can Maestro steal my funds?
Nothing in its record suggests it would, and nothing in its architecture would stop it. The bot creates the wallet and holds it on its own infrastructure, so you are trusting the operator, not just the code.
That is true of every Telegram trading bot, which is why the rule on this site is the same everywhere: a trading float, never a vault. The safety page has every incident in the category, dated.
Is Maestro bot free?
Installing and using it is free; trading costs 1% per transaction. The optional $200 per month premium adds speed and concurrency for heavy snipers.
Is Maestro bot legit?
It is a real, widely used bot with a multi-year record and the strongest refund precedent in the category. Legit does not mean risk-free: team anonymous, no published audit, deposits custodied on their servers.
